Adirondack Exposure 2020 is a unique, creative and fun-filled calendar in which Johnsburg community leaders come together and bare all for charity.
The calendar is dedicated to the celebratory memory of Jane Castaneda (1925-2017). She was described as a charismatic, fiery and compassionate friend who lived by the adage, “Always give more than you receive.” The calendar has been brought back after raising a combined total of over $20,000 for charities in 2013 and 2014.
Proceeds from this year’s calendar will be divided equally among the following 3 organizations:
North Country Ministry
From assistance with everyday needs such as food, clothing, furniture and other essentials to emergency assistance and casework services, North Country Ministry has impacted the lives of thousands living in an extremely rural and underserved 650-square-mile service area. Founded in North Creek, the Ministry later opened a center in Warrensburg and has developed a presence in Pottersville.
North Country Hardship Fund, Inc.
The North Country Hardship Fund was created with the sole purpose of assistaing others who have suffered a recent tragedy. The organization serves Essex, Hamilton, Saratoga, Warren and Washington Counties.
The Elizabeth Nash Foundation
The Elizabeth Nash Foundation was established in 2003 by her family to honor and perpetuate Liz’s lifelong example of giving and to continue her fight against Cystic Fibrosis (CF). The foundation is a donor-supported, public benefit charity operated by a family board. Donations are tax-deductible and 100% goes to programs and benefits for individuals with CF.
