The Barking Spider
The Barking Spider in North Creek, a favorite late-night spot for Johnsburg locals, is holding its 5th Annual New Year’s Eve Mega Bash to ring in 2020. Beginning at 8pm, One Smooth DJ will be playing classic rock, hip hop, and pop hits that are sure to get everyone moving. The Barking Spider has a small but yummy menu which includes burgers, fries, burritos, quesadillas, and wraps, so you can fuel up for a long night of dancing, drinks, and fun! Located on Main Street in North Creek, barVino is offering three dinner seatings on New Year’s Eve this year: 5pm-6:45pm, 7pm-8:45pm, and 9pm. barVino is a restaurant and wine bar which also boasts a generous craft beer selection. Their lounge opens at 5pm for those who want to enjoy tasty appetizers including gruyere scallion biscuits, pigs in a blanket, and shrimp cocktail. This venue is for the 21+ crowd only. Basil & Wick’s
Located at 3195 Route 28 in North Creek, Basil & Wick’s features an enticing menu of creative takes on traditional American and Adirondack comfort food dishes. If you’re searching for a place where you can listen to great music while filling up on delicious food, come celebrate New Year’s Eve with Rhythm Junction at Basil & Wicks. Garnet Hill Lodge
Held in its Log House Restaurant, the New Year’s Eve Dinner at Garnet Hill Lodge will be served in two seatings. From 5 pm-7:30 pm, there will be a buffet-style meal featuring soup, salad, a carving station with four unique entrees, an antipasto platter, and a bruschetta bar. A dessert selection will be available, and champagne and sparkling wine can be purchased by the bottle. This seating is family-friendly and offers a reduced price for children under 12.
For those celebrating New Year’s Eve without little ones, the second seating begins at 8:30 pm and offers the same elegant menu as the earlier option, but with the addition of live music and a midnight champagne toast, complete with strawberries and chocolate.
